We traveled to South Korea July 4 weekend 2015. The war memorial boasts a nice set up of aircraft, water craft and land vehicles outside. We were able to look inside the cockpits, read descriptions and find the crafts from our country. Each craft was labeled and stated which country it came from. From the outdoors you are ushered in through an impressive walkway with names engraved in the wall as well as a nice scene. At the doors there is a book available for free and a donation jar. We made a small donation and brought a book home. The book is great quality and is set up like a diary detailing each day during the war. Immediately inside the drum (pictured above) is on display. The interior has model vehicles, and historical water craft. Inside there is a small gift shop selling any manner of fun items as well as food and drinks. The war time and prior clothing is on display and the museum is well kept. The museum is a short walk (only about 5 minutes) from the Dragon Hill Lodge and close to shopping, restaurants, and base.
